Introduction

The date as I write this is May 26, 2022, and what started as a short, easy guide to self-publishing has transformed into a semi-stream of consciousness synopsis of what it’s like to be a project manager. So, unless you’re really interested in writing and publishing books because you love doing it, you may not find your answers here.

This is not (strictly speaking) a book about marketing. This isn’t a book about how to make a million dollars as a Kindle author. This is a description of the self-publishing process that I hope will help you decide what kind of indie author you want to be.
