It’s been a hot minute since I last posted on this blog, but between blowing bucks entering various screenwriting contests, revising said screenplays countless times, and trying to figure out how to sell a book or two (and let’s not even talk about dealing with fucking dystonia), I thought I’d share this message about an important issue.
To kick off National Library Week last year, this group issued a call to action for readers, advocates, and library lovers everywhere to stand up to censorship as part of a national day of action. They called it Right to Read Day, and thousands of you answered the call.
I would urge you to take a look at this handy toolkit for advocacy they provide.
It walks you through the various ways you can take a stand against censorship. Real easy steps to the more involved stuff.
You can make a difference! Seriously, you can!
