One Heck of a Thing for a Sunday Morning

So, I'm going through my email, thinking about how I could be doing anything else, when I run across this thing on Substack. Letters from an American.

So, like, I'm not feeling all that much like reading about Trump and political stuff, but then I see this: "William McKinley is having a moment (which I confess is a sentence I never expected to write)."

Okay, I'm interested. As a history buff, primarily,

So, yeah. Tariffs. An odd reading choice for me on any day, let alone a Sunday.

But then, there's all this history. And I love history, for some weird reason.

So, I'm scrolling down. Tariffs, Trump, etc. And there it is again. McKinley. Closely followed by "Gilded Age."

Well, you know I kept going. This was a virtual page-turner, for nerds like me.
