Here’s (essentially) Part One.

In this module lesson blog post, I’ll tell you what I learned in a webinar about newsletters. Because facts are not copyrightable, only their presentation. The way facts are expressed is copyrightable, not the facts or the opinions, for that matter, because people can share the same opinion. Right?

So, anyway, there are various types of newsletters. Let’s review a few of them.

And the first one is the “link aggregator”. “What the fuck is that?” you say. To quote my notes transcript “the link aggregator has links that all go back directly to the publisher’s website.”

Helpful hint: If you’re self-published, the publisher’s website would be your website. Now do you understand?

How I managed to overlook this little baby, well, needless to say I feel pretty stupid. So stupid that I had five freaking blogs and never once shared any of those links with a bona fide newsletter. That’s right. I’m a damned blind fool, I am.
